The problem
This prominent 15-metre-high building is partially clad in white Kingspan insulated panels, which had become heavily soiled with airborne pollutants. If left unchecked the continued weathering, and growth of organic matter would attack the coating, and expensive remedial action would be required.
The solution
Having identified the panels to have been manufactured by Kingspan, we selected a Corus/Tata approved detergent to comply with the warranty conditions. The detergent was applied through a water-fed brush head at low pressure, and thoroughly rinsed. The combination of chemical reaction, and the gentle agitation of the brush, completely removed the dirt.
