The problem
The steel cladding at this branch of FPS distribution was heavily colonised with organic matter, causing it to be discoloured, and if left untreated the biofilm would attack the coating.
The solution
The surfaces were treated by “Softwashing”.
This involves making a mix of product, in this case at a ratio of 10:1, which is applied at low pressure and a dwell time of 30 minutes is allowed. The product is fast acting as the photos show, and firstly sterilises the surface, preventing further colonisation, and then the surface is thoroughly rinsed, leaving a clean surface.
This process produces instant results that last longer then power washing alone.
